New Delhi: The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) sub-inspector committed suicide after allegedly shooting his senior personnel in Lodhi Estate area here. Officials said on Saturday that the incident took place around 10:30 pm on Friday night in a bungalow allotted to the Ministry of Home Affairs in Lodhi Estate.
He said that there was an argument between Sub Inspector Karnail Singh (55) and his senior inspector Dashrath Singh (56) after which Karnail allegedly killed Dasrath with his service weapon and later committed suicide. .
Karnail was a resident of Udhampur in Jammu and Kashmir while the inspector was a resident of Rohtak, Haryana. Senior officers of the paramilitary and local police arrived at the scene soon after the incident. Officials said investigations have been started to find out the reason behind the incident.
