Ghaziabad: Farmers have been agitating on the Delhi-Ghazipur border for more than 1 month to withdraw the agricultural bill. Meanwhile, sad news came on Saturday morning. Amidst the agitation here, a middle-aged farmer committed suicide by hanging himself in the toilet near the protest site.
Farmer is emotionally attached to the movement: Rakesh Tikait
Indian Farmers Union leader Rakesh Tikait has expressed grief over the farmer committing suicide. Rakesh Tikait says that the farmer has become emotionally attached to this movement. The government is not listening. This is why incidents of these thirteen are coming out. Rakesh Tikait said that if this situation of the government remains, then this government will merge the farmers with the earth.

A suicide note has also been found in the pocket of the deceased farmer. The deceased farmer was a resident of Pashiyapur. No more information is available yet. Rakesh Tikait looked very serious in this matter. He again reiterated that till the agrarian laws are not withdrawn, the agitation of farmers will continue unabated.
