Mumbai: Actress Priyanka Chopra has urged world leaders to help her deal with the “humanitarian and refugee crisis” arising out of the Russia-Ukraine conflict. UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Chopra posted a video on her Instagram on Friday urging global leaders to cooperate in the crisis in Eastern Europe and take steps to help displaced people from Ukraine. Chopra said, “Global leaders, this is a direct appeal to you. Activists working to support the humanitarian and refugee crisis we see every day in Eastern Europe need your support. We want you to take immediate steps to help displaced people in Ukraine and around the world.”

She said that more than two million children have had to give up everything in search of safety in neighboring countries. “With 2.5 million children displaced in Ukraine alone, this is the largest and fastest displacement of children since World War II,” the actress said.

She said that after what the children have seen and experienced, none of these children will ever be the same again. She also requested his fans to support the issue.
