Mumbai: The film ‘Rangeela’ starring Aamir Khan, Jackie Shroff, and Urmila Matondkar was a huge success at the box office and received critical acclaim across the country. Ram Gopal Varma’s film ‘Rangeela’ completes 25 years of success. The story of a middle-class girl’s struggle to achieve her Bollywood dreams was brilliantly portrayed in the film and the love triangle in the film added to the beauty of the story.
On the completion of 25 years of the film today, AR Rahman wrote that “Some of the best people got together through the Rangeela soundtrack. We are grateful for everyone’s love! ” ‘Rangeela’ was AR Rahman’s first Hindi film, with an original score and soundtrack as his previous Hindi releases had versions of his Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu.
AR composed by songs Rahman while the lyrics were written by Mehboob. Rahman shared the picture and a link to the film’s music track on his social media handle. In the picture, one can see Rahman with another Bollywood musician, Asha Bhosle.
