Kolkata: At least 15 terrorists of Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) have entered the West Bengal border from the neighboring country since the beginning of this year. 10 terrorists have gone to different parts of India including Jammu and Kashmir. Disclosing this, the Special Task Force (STF) of Kolkata Police said that the matter is being investigated further.

According to an STF official, the remaining five out of 15 terrorists stayed in West Bengal, out of which three terrorists of Bangladeshi origin were arrested on Sunday from the Haridevpur area of ​​South Kolkata. The STF officer said that during the interrogation of the three terrorists, it was found that 10 suspected terrorists of JMB have gone to different parts of Odisha, Bihar and Jammu, and Kashmir.

The STF is on the lookout for Sheikh Saqeel and Salim Munshi of JMB present in Bengal. The arrested JMB terrorists have been identified as Nazir Rehman, Rabiul Islam, and Sabir, all of whom used to sell fruits and mosquito nets for a living.
