The Yogi government has set a target of investment of Rs 30,000 crore in this regard. This will provide employment to about 10 lakh people.
Along with this, a subsidy of 15% was now announced on the factory price of electric vehicles purchased in Uttar Pradesh. In this, a big announcement of giving a subsidy of up to Rs 1 lakh per vehicle for the first 2 lakh two-wheeler electric vehicles, maximum of 12 thousand on the first 50 thousand three-wheeler electric vehicles, for the first 25 thousand four-wheeler electric vehicles. has been done.
Not only this, but the Yogi government has also announced a huge discount on the purchase of electric buses. A subsidy of up to Rs 20 lakh will be given on the purchase of the initial 400 electric buses in the state. Also, according to the new policy of the Yogi government, all-electric vehicles purchased in the state in the first 3 years will not have to pay road tax and registration charges, that is, they will be kept free. Along with this, if the electric vehicle of a customer is made in Uttar Pradesh itself, then he will be able to get this discount on buying an electric vehicle in the fourth and fifth years also.
