New Delhi: South West Monsoon at present has come ahead of Maldives, Comorin region. Also, the speed of the monsoon is above normal and it will reach Kerala in the next few hours. Due to this, its effect will be visible in the neighboring states as well. This is the reason why the Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in the states of South India.
It is to be known that the Meteorological Department says that light to moderate rain may occur in Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, and Sikkim. Talking about Delhi, the heat may increase from today to the next two-three days.
IMD says that the mercury in Delhi will now rise and it will rise once again. However, it is a matter of relief that there is no possibility of a heatwave in Delhi in the next five days. Earlier, due to the increasing monsoon activity in Kerala and the effect of Dronika, there was light rain in many parts of the state on Friday.
