Srinagar: Three militants were killed in an encounter between security forces and militants in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday. After receiving intelligence about the presence of militants, a police officer said that the security forces started a siege operation in Khul Chohar of South Kashmir district. The officer said the operation turned into an encounter after militants opened fire on security forces. He said that three militants were killed in the encounter. The officer said that the terrorists are being identified and their organization is being traced.
