Ahmedabad: There is a shortage of Remdesivir injections across the country. In many states like Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Punjab, patients are wandering to achieve this. Thousands of people are waiting for injection for corona positive families in MP’s Indore and Bhopal. In the meantime, injections of Remadecivir are being distributed free of cost to the people at the BJP office in Surat, Gujarat. Hundreds of people have lined up since Saturday morning to take injections at the BJP office in the Udhna area.
Gujarat BJP President CR Patil has shared this information on social media. He has written that this has been done at the initiative of the BJP office in Surat. It will be necessary to bring a doctor’s form and corona report to bring the injection.
However, these injections are being given to all for free. A person is receiving only one injection. A copy of Aadhaar card is being submitted for this. 5000 injections have reached the BJP office. Now opposition parties are raising questions about when there is no remdacivir injection in hospitals. If it is not available in the market also, how did its consignment reach in the BJP office.
Opposition demanded collector to be investigated
Two days ago, the Collector of Surat had said in an official statement that the administration did not have sufficient injections of Remadecivir. Opposition parties are demanding from the collector to get an inquiry as to whom the BJP bought these injections from.
BJP accused of taking political advantage
Former President of Gujarat Pradesh Congress Arjun Modhwadia said that it is not just politics but a criminal act. At the same time, the Leader of the Opposition Dharmesh Bhandari has accused the BJP of taking political advantage even during the time of the epidemic. Bhandari said from where the BJP offices are reaching if the administration does not have injections. This whole process is under suspicion.
