Warsaw (Poland): Poland Police, Border Guard, and Fire Brigade plans to pension their dogs and horses retiring from service. Is being made so that those who serve the country can get social security even after service. Yet serving dogs and horses cease to receive government care after retirement and are handed over to NGOs or people who wish to adopt them.
On the appeal of security forces / members of police etc., the Ministry of Home Affairs has proposed a new law under which there is a plan to give these dogs and horses official status and pension after retirement so that their new owners will be able to bear the fat expenses incurred on their care. Do not worry.
Home Minister Morris Cumminski has called the proposed law draft a moral responsibility, which should get consensus from Parliament. This bill is to be introduced in Parliament at the end of the year.
