Moradabad: There is tremendous resentment in the Muslim community about the petition filed in the Supreme Court by Wasim Rizvi for the removal of 26 verses from the Quran. Wasim Rizvi is opposed by both Shia and Sunni communities. In this sequence, he has announced a reward of Rs 11 lakh to the person who beheads Wasim Rizvi’s head. On the other hand, Shia-Sunni ulema in Lucknow condemned Wasim Rizvi and issued a fatwa to dismiss Wasim from Islam by holding a joint press conference.
Maulana Fazle Mannan Rahmani Nadvi, Imam of the mounded mosque said that Wasim is working as an agent of Israel. Its purpose is only to harm the society. Maulana Dr. Kalbe Sibtain Noori said that Wasim’s act cannot be forgiven. Wasim Rizvi is not a part of society. He has always maligned Muslim society. They are not a part of our society. Both Maulana vowed to dismiss Wasim Rizvi from Islam and to oust him from the Muslim society.
Reward to the bearer
Moradabad Bar Association President Amirul Hasan Jafri said that we oppose Rizvi’s writ petition. It is not a crime to punish those who make false statements about Quran Majid. Jafri said that he will arrange the amount of reward for the beheader. If needed, we will sell even our children.
