New Delhi: The circumstances of COVID-19 in India are once again becoming uncontrollable. The number of coronavirus-infected patients is breaking records every day. Within the last 24 hours, more than 25 thousand new cases have been reported in the country. According to the data released by the Ministry of Health, after the new cases of coronavirus have been reported, the number of corona infected patients in the country has gone up to one crore 13 lakh 59 thousand 48. In the last 24 hours, 25,320 new cases of Carona virus infection have been reported, while 161 people have died. It is also worth noting here that for the first time after 20 December last year, so many new cases have been found in one day.
According to the Health Ministry, 1 crore 9 lakh 89 thousand 897 people have been recovered in the country so far, whereas at present there are 2 lakh 10 thousand 544 active cases. After the deaths in the last 24 hours, the number of dead in the country has increased to 1 lakh 58 thousand 607. According to ICMR, 8,64,368 corona investigations have been done in the country within the last 24 hours.
Maharashtra once again appears to be the most affected by Corona. In the last 24 hours in Maharashtra, 15,602 new cases of the corona were reported while 88 people died. The number of corona patients in the state has now risen to 22,97,793 after new cases surfaced. There are still 1,19,771 active cases in the state. In the Thane district of Maharashtra, 1,153 new cases of coronavirus infection were reported, after which the total number of infected people increased to 2,74,283.
775 new cases of corona reported in Gujarat
On Saturday, 775 new cases of coronavirus infection were reported in Gujarat, taking the total number of infected people to 2,77,397. Two patients died of this disease, while 579 patients beat the infection. According to the Health Department, 4,422 patients of Covid-19 have died in the state so far, while 2,68,775 patients have been cured. Healthy patients are 96.89 percent of the infected so far.
Corona case increases in Punjab, 22 killed
After 1,515 new cases of Coronavirus infection were reported in Punjab on Saturday, the total number of infected people increased to 1,96,263. Apart from this, 22 patients died due to infection. According to the Health Department, 6,052 people have died in Covid-19 in the state so far. The number of under-treated patients increased to 10,916 on Saturday from 10,452 on Friday. At the same time, after the arrival of 144 new cases of coronavirus infection in Chandigarh, the total number of infected people has increased to 22,976.
