New Delhi: Honor, the Chinese smartphone and tablet maker, has launched its latest tablet, the Honor Pad X9, in India today. The tablet is a successor to the Honor Pad X8 that was launched last year. The Honor Pad X9 comes with an 11.5-inch 2K TFT LCD display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. The tablet also features a six-speaker system with Hi-Res audio support, a 5MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera, a 7,250mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging support, and MagicOS 7.1 based on Android 13.
The Honor Pad X9 is priced at Rs. 14,499 and is available for pre-order on Amazon India. Customers who pre-order the tablet will get a free Honor flip cover and a Rs. 500 discount as part of the launch offer. The tablet will go on sale from August 2nd onwards. The tablet comes in a single Space Gray color option.
The Honor Pad X9 is aimed at providing a smooth and immersive experience for users who enjoy watching videos, playing games, reading books, or browsing the web on a large screen. The tablet has an all-metal body that measures 6.9mm in thickness and weighs 485 grams. The tablet has an 86% screen-to-body ratio and offers a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. The display also has TÜV Rheinland certification for low blue light and flicker-free eye comfort mode.
The Honor Pad X9 is powered by the Snapdragon 685 chipset, which is a 6nm octa-core processor with Adreno 610 GPU. The chipset supports Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C, and GPS connectivity options. The tablet also has 3GB of virtual RAM that enhances performance by using internal storage as additional memory.
The Honor Pad X9 has a single rear camera that has a 5MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture and autofocus. The camera can record Full HD videos at 30fps. The tablet also has a single front camera that has a 5MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture and fixed focus. The camera can be used for video calls or selfies.
The Honor Pad X9 has a large battery capacity of 7,250mAh that can provide up to 10 hours of video playback or web browsing on a single charge. The battery also supports 22.5W fast charging that can charge the tablet up to 50% in just one hour.
The Honor Pad X9 runs on MagicOS 7.1, which is based on the Android 13 operating system. The software offers features like split-screen mode, multi-window mode, app cloning, dark mode, gesture navigation, and more.
The Honor Pad X9 also boasts a six-speaker sound system that supports Hi-Res audio technology. The speakers are located on both sides of the tablet and offer a surround sound effect. The speakers also have Dolby Atmos support for enhanced audio quality.
