New Delhi: Today PM Narendra Modi has left for a visit to France. At the same time, this special two-day visit will not only strengthen the long-standing diplomatic relations with France but will also increase defense and trade agreements between the two countries. In this visit, an agreement is also going to be signed between India and France regarding 26 Rafale M.

Please inform that Rafale M will soon join the Indian Navy fleet. This will be the biggest defense deal between the two countries after the Rafale purchase in 2019. It will also include three Scorpion submarines which will increase the strength of the Navy manifold. If seen, in view of the growing tension with China, this deal is now considered even more important.

On the other hand, PM Modi on Thursday expressed confidence that his visit to France would give a new impetus to the bilateral partnership between the two countries. The Prime Minister said that he looked forward to a wide-ranging discussion with President Emmanuel Macron during his visit to France. In his message before leaving for France
Prime Minister Modi said I will be on a state visit to France from 13 to 14 July at the invitation of my friend, French President Emmanuel Macron. He said this visit is special because I have to join President Macron as a special guest in the celebrations in Paris on the National Day of France or Bastille Day.
