Elon Musk informed on Thursday night that Twitter Blue subscribers can now post videos up to 2 hours long or up to 8GB in size on the post platform. That is, almost an entire movie can be posted here. Musk has given this information through his Twitter handle.
This is the limit for non-subscribers
For your information, let us tell you that a non-Twitter Blue subscriber can share videos on the platform with a limit of only 140 seconds i.e. 2 minutes and 20 seconds. With this new feature of Twitter, it will now become like YouTube, where videos of long duration can be posted. However, YouTube’s limit is up to 256GB or up to 12 hours. Nevertheless, Twitter is a platform with a different format.
There will also be a chance to earn money
Like YouTube, here too Musk may have a plan to give users a chance to earn money. Musk’s intention is to compete with YouTube or to make the app a super app. Obviously, with this new option, people can get a chance to earn money, as users are doing with YouTube right now. On April 1, Elon Musk introduced the subscription for Twitter Blue Badge. Earlier, Blue Badge was given free of cost to notable people on the platform. Now for this one has to pay $ 8 every month and $ 84 annually. Indian users can subscribe to it by paying Rs 650 per month for mobile and Rs 900 per month for the website. These subscribers can edit their Tweets up to 5 times within 30 minutes of posting.
