Not only this but a fine of Rs 30 lakh has also been imposed on the airlines for the negligence of Air India. On February 27, on a flight from Dubai to Delhi, the pilot made his female friend sit in the cockpit.

He kept getting her business-class treatment. The cabin crew had complained about this to the DGCA. After this, the investigation started into the matter. At the same time, Air India was also investigating the matter on its behalf.

It could be seen in the clip that a pilot not only made his female friend travel by making her sit in the cockpit but also made her sit there and got her a sumptuous meal with alcohol and snacks. While the pilot’s friend had taken an economy-class ticket. But he wanted to give her the pleasure of business class. Talked to the cabin crew about this. But as the business class was full, he engaged his friend in the cockpit itself, which was a complete violation of the rule.

The cabin crew had complained to the DGCA about this act of the pilot in the Air India flight going from Dubai to Delhi. The investigation was started again against the accused pilot. This matter is of 27 February. For the first time on April 21, the summons was sent to the pilot to appear. On this whole matter, Air India said that we have taken the reported incident seriously and investigation is going on in Air India. We have also reported the matter to the DGCA. Cooperating with their investigation. We have zero tolerance for issues related to the safety and well-being of our passengers and will take necessary action.
