New Delhi: Apple has unveiled its latest MacBook Air models, powered by the third-generation Apple silicon, the M3 chipset. The new laptops come in two sizes, 13.6-inch and 15.3-inch, and offer a significant boost in performance, battery life, and display quality.

What’s New in the MacBook Air M3?

The MacBook Air M3 is the first laptop to feature the 3-nanometer (nm) M3 chipset, which has a 10-core CPU and a 10-core GPU. The M3 chipset is designed to deliver faster and more efficient computing, with up to 60% more speed than the previous M1 chipset, and up to 13 times more speed than the fastest Intel-powered MacBook Air.

The new laptops also have improved external display capabilities, allowing users to connect two external monitors even when the laptop lid is closed. This feature is useful for multitasking and enhancing productivity. Moreover, the MacBook Air M3 supports Wi-Fi 6E, which offers faster and more reliable wireless connectivity.

Another notable improvement is the support for hardware-accelerated mesh shading and ray tracing, which are advanced graphics techniques that enhance the realism and immersion of games. The MacBook Air M3 can handle demanding games with ease, thanks to its powerful GPU and 24GB of unified memory.

The display also supports True Tone technology, which adjusts the color temperature according to the ambient light.

The MacBook Air M3 models have a 1080P FaceTime HD camera, which delivers high-quality video calls and selfies. The camera also supports Center Stage, which automatically pans and zooms to keep the user in focus. The laptops also have a Touch ID sensor, which enables quick and secure unlocking with a fingerprint.

The MacBook Air M3 models have a remarkable battery life, which can last up to 18 hours on a single charge. The battery life is optimized for various tasks, such as web browsing, video streaming, photo editing, and video editing. The laptops also have a fast-charging feature, which can provide up to 3 hours of battery life in 15 minutes.
