Jailed in Jodhpur, Asaram’s health suddenly worsens, admitted to CCU ward

Jodhpur: According to the reports received, Asaram’s health in Jodhpur Jail of Rajasthan has suddenly deteriorated. Asaram was taken to the emergency of Mahatma Gandhi Hospital due to this deteriorating health. It is being told that they have been brought here after complaining of restlessness. Significantly, Asaram is serving a life sentence in jail on charges of sexual exploitation with a minor.

On Tuesday night, Asaram’s health suddenly worsened and he felt restless, while the first prison dispensary underwent primary treatment for an hour. When there was no talk, Asaram was brought to the Emergency of Mahatma Gandhi Hospital. Here Asaram told that his knees are not working, BP and restlessness are also happening.

Asaram has also described himself as having prostate problems. After bringing Asaram to Emergency, some devotees also reached there, who were later evicted by the police. Blood samples of Asaram were taken, X-rays and CT scanning were also done. A cardiology doctor was also called. Asaram’s ECG report came out as normal. Asaram was later shifted from Mahatma Gandhi Hospital to the CCU ward of Mathuradas Mathur Hospital. On the other hand, many Asaram supporters reached the hospital after hearing that Asaram’s health was deteriorating.

Significantly, in the sexual abuse case, the Rajasthan High Court Jodhpur was going to hear the Asaram case last week. At this hearing Asaram’s lawyers were not coming from Mumbai. In this case, his other lawyers requested to postpone the hearing. Now this hearing will be held on 8 March. Please tell that Asaram was sentenced to life imprisonment by the court.

The incident dates back to 2013 when a minor girl sensationally accused Asaram of sexual abuse at the celebrated ashram near Jodhpur. After this, on 31 August 2013, Asaram was arrested by the police from Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Significantly, Asaram has been booked under Poxo, Juvenile Justice Act, rape, criminal conspiracy and many other cases. After this, Asaram filed a bail petition in the Supreme Court in 2014, which was rejected by the court.

After this, in April 2018, the special court found Asaram guilty of raping a minor girl. Not only this, the court sentenced Asaram to life imprisonment under the Poxo Act and a fine of Rs 1 lakh was also imposed on Asaram.
