Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov, who has ruled Turkmenistan since 2007, unveiled a giant statue of the Albie dog on Wednesday. This statue is specially made of bronze, so that it will not be damaged.
Albie breeds of dogs are loved all over the world. Dogs of this breed are found only in Turkmenistan. This is the reason why Gurbanguli Berdyamukhmedonov also associates this dog with a national identity.
