Yerevan (Armenia): The heavy conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan (Armenia and Azerbaijan) forces over the disputed territory Nagorno-Karabakh continued for the fourth day on Wednesday. Many people have died and many have been injured in the decades-old conflict.

The Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan said that on Wednesday morning Armenian forces opened fire in Tartar city, causing damage to civilian infrastructure and injuring many people. Armenian authorities alleged that Turkish drones and F-16 fighter jets were used.

The conflict began on Sunday in Nagorno-Karabakh and continues despite the cease-fire appeals from all over the world. Meanwhile, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said on Wednesday that Azerbaijan is ready to provide if it requests assistance.

Significantly, Nagorno-Karabakh, surrounded by mostly hilly terrain, is spread over 4,400 square kilometers and is about 50 kilometers from the border of Armenia. Locals have also captured some areas of Azerbaijan, with support from Armenia’s army.
