New Delhi: The central government on Monday decided to do away with the mandatory filling of air facility forms for international passengers amid a decline in the number of coronavirus cases in the country. Now passengers will not have to upload a Self Declaration Form on Air Suvidha Portal. According to a notification issued by the Union Health Ministry, the revised guidelines for international arrivals will come into effect from November 22. Apart from this, the necessary rules of corona vaccine and mask have also been abolished.

It has also been said by the Central Government that one has to remain in isolation only if symptoms are found. According to the Ministry of Civil Aviation, the rule of not uploading the self-declaration form will come into force on November 22, 2022. This will also apply to international passengers arriving by airports, waterways, and by road.

The Ministry has said that following the declining cases of COVID-19 and major progress in COVID-19 vaccination globally as well as in India, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has issued revised guidelines for international arrivals. However, it was also said from the side of the government that, if the situation regarding Kovid changes, the rules will be reviewed again.
