Beijing: Isolation of 186 people after an employee of Shanghai’s main international airport, known as China’s financial center, was found to be infected with the coronavirus. Placed in and examined more than 8,000 people.
No other person has been found infected, the city government said Tuesday. However, it is not yet clear how the 51-year-old employee became infected. In the northern port city of Tianjin, more than 77,000 people were examined after a case of local infection surfaced.
The National Health Administration said on Tuesday that 21 more people from abroad were found infected, while 426 people were undergoing treatment. There have been 86,267 cases of the virus in China, of which 4,634 have died.
