New Delhi: The National Grants Commission, UGC has appealed to all higher educational institutions to ensure adequate opportunities for class 12 students to take admitted to universities. It is worth noting that the CBSE 12th board results have not been released yet. In such a situation, UGC Secretary Rajnish Jain has written a letter to the Vice-Chancellor, Principal, and Directors saying that the institute should fix the last date for admission only after the results of class 12th are declared. So that no student is deprived of admission.

The Secretary of UGC wrote ‘It has come to notice that some institutions have started the registration process for admission to undergraduate courses for the academic session 2022-23. In such a situation, if the last date of admission is fixed before the release of CBSE results, then the students will be deprived of taking admission.

Therefore, all higher educational institutions are requested to declare the last date of the admission process for UG courses only after the declaration of the CBSE 12th result. So that students can get proper time to take admission’, he added.

Let us inform you that according to media reports, the final results of the CBSE 10th, and 12th boards can be released by the last week of July. At present, students will have to wait for the official announcement of the board for clear dates.
