RSS Leaders Convene in Ranchi for Strategic Meeting Ahead of Centenary Celebrations

Ranchi: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is set to hold its All India Prant Pracharak meeting in Ranchi from July 12th to 14th. This significant gathering will see the presence of RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, Sarkaryavahak Dattatreya Hosabale, and other senior officials. Key leaders such as Krishna Gopal, CR Mukund, Arun Kumar, Ramdutt, Alok Kumar, and Atul Limaye will also be in attendance.

Why This Meeting is Crucial

This bi-annual meeting is a pivotal event where Prant Pracharaks from 46 provinces across the country come together. According to RSS All India Prachar Pramukh Sunil Ambekar, the agenda includes planning for the upcoming year, discussing branch and migrant work, and reviewing the activities of various departments. This meeting, typically held in March, is one of three major annual gatherings, with the other two occurring in October and July.

Key Discussions and Future Plans

The meeting will focus on the implementation of five major social change initiatives, reviewing past work, and strategizing future activities. A significant topic will be the expansion plans leading up to the RSS centenary in 2025-26. The RSS currently operates 73,000 branches and aims to establish at least one branch in each divisional area across the country.

Parallel Meeting of Rashtriya Sevika Samiti

Simultaneously, the Rashtriya Sevika Samiti, a nationalist women’s organization often referred to as the “sister” of RSS, will hold a three-day meeting in Nagpur, Maharashtra. This meeting will discuss plans to commemorate the 300th birth anniversary of Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar and celebrate the completion of 100 years of RSS. The theme of ‘Nation is supreme’ will be a focal point of the discussions.
