Mumbai: Veteran actor Rajeev Kapoor, the younger brother of late actor Rishi Kapoor and Randhir Kapoor, has died of a heart attack. He was 58 years old and breathed his last (Rajiv Kapoor Passes Pway) at Ilex Hospital in Chembur. Randhir Kapoor took his brother to a nearby hospital, but Rajiv Kapoor died before treatment could begin.
It is being told that Randhir Kapoor reached the hospital with younger brother Rajiv Kapoor after a heart attack, but the doctors declared him dead there. Randhir Kapoor has also confirmed the news of the demise of his younger brother. He said- ‘I have lost my youngest brother Rajiv. He is no longer in this world. The doctors tried their best but could not save her.
He further said- ‘I am in the hospital and waiting to take the body of my younger brother.’ Neetu Kapoor, wife of late actor Rishi Kapoor, has also confirmed Rajiv Kapoor’s death through social media. He shared a photo of Rajiv Kapoor.
