Mumbai: Judicial custody of actress Rhea Chakraborty (Rhea Chakraborty) arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) (NCB) probing the drugs angle in the case of the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Extended to six October on Tuesday.
Special Public Prosecutor Atul Serpande said that Chakraborty was produced before Special Judge GB Gurao and extended the period of judicial custody of the actress. He said that the other accused in the case will be produced in the court on Wednesday. On September 11, the special court dismissed the bail pleas of Chakraborty, his brother Shouvik Chakraborty and others.
Significantly, Rajput was found dead on June 14 at his residence in Bandra. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is separately investigating a case against Chakraborty and others for allegedly abetting the 34-year-old actor for suicide.
