New Delhi: The dangerous coronavirus, which has rung alarm bells in states like Delhi-Maharashtra, has scared once again. Coronavirus has taken a huge leap in India today. More than 10 thousand cases of coronavirus have been reported in the country in a day, due to which the tension among the people has increased. According to the Ministry of Health, in the last 24 hours, 10,158 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the country, which is 30 percent more cases than the previous days i.e. Wednesday. A jump has also been seen in the positivity rate and it is currently at 4.42 percent.
According to the latest data from the Union Ministry of Health, the number of active cases in the country has increased to 44,998, with the receipt of 10,158 new cases in the last 24 hours. While the total number of coronavirus cases in the country has crossed 4,42,10,127 so far. On Wednesday, 7,830 new coronavirus cases were registered in the country.
Government sources say that Covid is increasing continuously in India and cases will increase for the next 10-12 days. However, after that, the infection will subside.
