Indigo flight’s Passenger condition deteriorated, emergency landing in Nagpur, death in hospital

Nagpur: A 62-year-old man died in a hospital in Nagpur after his Indigo flight from Mumbai to Ranchi made an emergency landing on Monday evening. The man, identified as Devanand Tiwari, had kidney and TB problems and started vomiting blood during the flight. He was rushed to IMS Hospital for treatment, but could not be saved. The flight number was 6E 5093.

This incident came a day after another Indigo flight from Lucknow to Sharjah had to land in Jaipur due to a medical emergency. A 23-year-old passenger suffered a heart attack on the plane and was taken to a nearby private hospital. The flight number was E6-1423.
