Muzaffarnagar Mahapanchayat

Muzaffarnagar: The tussle between Indian wrestlers and the outgoing president of the Wrestling Federation, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, continues. Meanwhile, a khap maha panchayat was held at Shoram village in Muzaffarnagar on Thursday (June 1) by farmers in support of the wrestlers. In this, farmer leader Rakesh Tikait said, children have been picked up while agitating peacefully. The decision is reserved here, but Khap representatives will meet the President.

If justice is not given, then they will fight for the whole country
The farmer leader said allegations are being made that these children are lying. It is the trick of the government that Hindu-Muslim in UP, Lalu’s family was broken in Bihar, Chautala family was broken in Haryana, it did the same in Gujarat. Wrestlers do not belong to any caste, their caste is the tricolor. We also carry the country’s flag and not our party’s flag abroad. If justice is not given, then they will fight for the whole country.

Warriors have no caste
Rakesh Tikait said, there is no caste of warriors. If you are holding this meeting on the 5th, then do it, and we will also do it. Every khap will hold a meeting of every society. We will also go to the International Federation. A committee of Khap Chaudhary will be formed and will meet the President and the Home Minister. Tomorrow some decisions will be given in Kurukshetra. Now it is not the job of these children, now it is our job. People from the government party are also with you, but now they are saying that they cannot attend the meeting because their government will cause a loss.

Muzaffarnagar Mahapanchayat

It is worth mentioning that Naresh Tikait, head of Balyan Khap and leader of Bharatiya Kisan Union, has called a Khap maha panchayat in support of the wrestlers. Major Khaps from Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Delhi came to take part in this Mahapanchayat. He said that the proposal of this Khap is likely to come by the evening after the Khap heads of all the states put forth their views on this issue. Let us tell you that on Tuesday, the wrestlers had gone to the Ganga to shed their medals, alleging that no action had been taken in the matter, but Naresh Tikait had persuaded them and asked for five days’ time.
