Kanpur: Pramod Subramaniam, assistant professor in the computer science department of IIT Kanpur, has committed suicide by hanging himself. Professor Pramod has done suicide at the IIT campus itself. The IIT management informed the police about the incident. On receiving the information, Kalyanpur police reached the spot. In the initial investigation, the police are saying that there is no such suicide note. This is a complete incident of the IIT Campus of the Kalyanpur police station area.
According to the information received, Professor Pramod Subramanian lived with his family in the IIT campus. However, due to the police not getting any suicide note from the spot, the reasons behind the suicide have not been known yet. At present, the police is sending the body for postmortem. In the case, Director of III Abhay Karindkar termed the death of the professor as an irreparable loss to the institute. According to IIT Kanpur Media Cell, no suicide note has been recovered from the spot. At present, the police is investigating the matter on every aspect.
