New Delhi: ‘Loo’ is wreaking havoc all over North India. North Indian states including South Haryana, Delhi, South Uttar Pradesh, North Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar, and West Bengal were hit by ‘Loo’ on Monday. The IMD told that due to ‘Western Disturbance’ some states will get relief. Hope to see you. It has been told that it may rain in Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh in the next two days.

According to the report of the Meteorological Department, the highest temperature of 46.2°C was recorded in the National Capital Region of Najafgarh. The mercury in Najafgarh reached 46.2 degrees Celsius, making it the hottest place in the capital. At the same time, heatwave conditions prevailed in Narela (45.3°C), Pitampura (45.8°C), and Pusa (45.8°C).

The IMD said that due to the active Western Disturbance in the Western Himalayan region, rain, hailstorm, and strong winds are expected in the plains of northwestern India from Wednesday. As a result, the maximum temperature will come down to 36 degrees Celsius by Thursday.

It will rain in these states with hail
The Meteorological Department said that on May 24-25, there may be thunderstorms and strong winds in Uttarakhand and in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi on Wednesday. Apart from this, rain is expected in the coming days in the adjoining areas of Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, and Himachal Pradesh. There is a possibility of hailstorms in some places along with rain in Punjab, Himachal, and Haryana on Tuesday. Dust storms/thundershowers are expected in Rajasthan for the next three days, meanwhile, there may be hailstorms in the northern parts of the state after tomorrow.

Forecast of rain in these states as well
There is a possibility of rain in Bengal, Sikkim, and Bihar in the next two days. Due to Western Disturbance in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, it may rain on 24-25. At the same time, rain can be seen in the northeastern states including Assam, and Meghalaya in the next three days.
