Know why the strike is taking place?
Bankers are going on strike in protest against the policies of the central government. All these employees are opposing the plan to make public sector banks private. For this reason, the union of bank employees and officers has given notice to go on strike on March 15 and 16.

Rural banks will also join the strike
Let us tell you that this has been called by the United Forum of Bank Union (UFBU). It includes almost all organizations of employees and officers. Apart from this, Regional Rural Bank has also come to join this strike.

The functioning of banks will be affected
The United Forum of Bank Unions, the central organization of the Nine Bank Union, has called the bandh. Due to this strike, the functioning of state-run banks will be greatly affected. In such a situation, if you finish your important work of the bank before March 13, then it will be convenient. The impact of this strike will also be seen on the functioning of State Bank of India, the country’s largest government bank. The bank has given this information to the stock exchange.

According to Anupam, the national convenor of Yuva Hallabol, the youth group will also participate in the strike on March 15 and 16 in banks across the country. The youth has started a campaign against privatization on Twitter on March 9 through the hashtag ‘We will not let the country sell’.
