The magnitude of the earthquake was measured at 3.9 on the Richter scale. Its epicenter was 171 km east of Kolhapur at a depth of 10 km. However, no casualty has been reported in the earthquakes that struck both these states.

After this, the tremors of a 2.8 magnitude earthquake were felt for the third time at 3:44 pm. So, for the fourth time, the earthquake occurred on Tuesday at 8.03 am and its intensity was 2.9.
