New Delhi: There is a disturbing news after 75 Corona Positive employees got together in two well-known dhabas located in Murthal, Haryana. In the last one week, at least ten thousand people have eaten food in the two dhabas located here. It is feared that there may be infection among these people. Now the administration has started collecting information about all the people who came here. Contact tracing is in progress for this. According to administration officials, contact tracing is being done on a large scale to identify the infected, but this is a big challenge. At the same time, both the dhabas of Murthal have been sealed.
Employees of actor Dharmendra’s Dhaba also infected
District Commissioner of Sonepat Shyam Lal Punia said that we collected samples of 360 employees of Amrik Sukhdev Dhaba on Wednesday. 65 of them have been found corona positive. While 10 employees of other Garam Dharma Dhabas have also been infected. This dhaba belongs to actor Dharmendra.
The District Commissioner said that it is a big challenge for the administration to find all the customers who have gone to these super-spreader dhabas in the last one week.
Screening drive being run for corona investigation
In fact, the Sonipat district administration is running a screening drive to check the corona of the employees of Dhabas located on the banks of NH. Meanwhile, both these super-spreader dhabas have been detected. The commissioner said that the district administration is conducting regular checking operations on the dhabas to ensure that they will be compelled to follow the safety guidelines.
Dhabas are on the Delhi-Chandigarh highway
Murthal, about 70 km from Delhi, has several dhabas along the NH. There is a crowd of people going from Delhi to Chandigarh and returning. The parathas of these dhabas are quite famous. Therefore, people from the surrounding district also reach here for weekend fun. And enjoy the flavors.
The central government has allowed interstate movement under unlock to bring life back on track after coronovirus lockdown. After which people are now traveling to other states. According to the district officials, the opening of these dhabas, which have been closed for months, is seeing a large crowd here, which has increased the possibility of spreading corona infection. Significantly, 19 people died of corona in Haryana on Thursday. Whereas 1,881 cases were reported in a single day till date. Only 190 corona virus cases have been found in Sonipat district.
