Corona vaccination will start at workplace from April 11, Center orders preparation to states

New Delhi: The Central Government is soon going to allow Vaccination at Workplace. In case there are 100 eligible beneficiaries at any workplace, Covid Vaccination Center will be set up. States / UTs have been instructed to launch it on 11 April. According to the order issued by the government, if there are 100 eligible and willing beneficiaries in any private or public organization, the workplace will be made a Covid Vaccination Center. Accordingly, guidelines will be issued to the states to cooperate in this campaign.

Let us tell that from April 1, vaccination of people above 45 years of age has started. Already, people above the age of 60 years are being vaccinated. In such a situation, if there are 100 beneficiaries of these age groups in workplaces, their vaccinations will be allowed there.

How will these workplaces be identified?
The District Task Force headed by the District Magistrate and the Urban Task Force headed by the Municipal Commissioner will identify such government and private workplaces based on the number and eligibility of the employees.

Workplace management will appoint a senior staff member as the nodal officer to coordinate with the district health administration and private Kovid vaccination centers.

Nodal officers will provide all facilities for vaccination at work place such as registration of beneficiaries, physical and IT infrastructure.

India has become the fastest vaccinated country in the world, leaving behind America in the anti-Covid-19 vaccination. On average, 30,93,861 doses are being given daily in India. So far, more than 8.70 crore doses of the Covid-19 vaccine have been given in the country.

According to the provisional report till 7 am, 8,70,77,474 doses of the vaccine have been given in a total of 13,32,130 sessions. Of these, 89,63,724 health workers have been given the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine while 53,94,913 health workers have been given the second dose. At the same time, the first dose has been given to 97,36,629 personnel of the advance front and the second dose to 43,12,826 personnel.
