Chennai: South Indian Bollywood singer SP Balasubrahmanyam, who gave many famous songs to Bollywood, now his health is deteriorated. He has now been taken to the ICU. The 74-year-old singer came to Corona Test positive earlier this month. He was undergoing treatment since then. Now his condition has become worse.

SP Balasubramanian posted a video on his official Facebook page earlier this month, which said that he had chest tightness for a few days with cold and fever, due to which he started suffering from the coronavirus. Had to undergo a test, in which he was found positive. Famous singer SP Balasubrahmanyam said that the doctors had instructed him to stay quarantined at home and take medicines. But his family was worried, so he got himself admitted to the hospital.

He was also known as SPB or sand. He has sung about forty thousand songs in different languages ​​in his career. SP Balasubramaniam was born on this day in 1946 in Andhra Pradesh. After Yesudas, SP Balasubramaniam is in second place in winning the National Award for Best Male Singer. While Yesudas has 8 National Awards, SP has so far won 6 National Awards.

Balasubramanian has been fond of music since childhood. For the first time in the year 1966, he got a chance to sing in a Telugu film. He received the Best Male Play Back Singer award for ‘Dil Deewana Bin Sajna Ke Mane Na’, a song from the 1989 film Maine Pyar Kiya. Balasubramaniam has many records recorded in his name. He has the record of recording 21 consecutive songs in 12 hours.

In his illustrious career, SP established himself as a singer, actor, music director and film producer. SP Balasubramaniam is also a voice over artist. SP did voice overs for Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth to Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Anil Kapoor and Girish Karnad.
