Air India starts direct flights between Mumbai and Pune on March 26

Pune: Air India, owned by the Tata group, will start air service between Mumbai-Pune, and Pune-Mumbai from 26 March. Located approximately 120 km via air and 150 km via road network, Mumbai and Pune are among the busiest airports in Maharashtra. Talking about air travel, there is no direct Mumbai-Pune connection.

With the launch of the Mumbai-Pune flight, Air India will become the first airline in a long time to start a direct flight between the two cities using a narrow-body aircraft. Air India will deploy its smallest aircraft, the Airbus A319, which will fly between the two cities every day except Saturdays.
