At the same time, taking a big decision on Tuesday, the Kejriwal government had announced to impose a weekend curfew in the capital. Because of this, the weekend curfew has come into force from 10 pm today i.e. on Friday night. It will run till 5 am on Monday. During this, apart from essential services, all government officials will work from home. Whereas in private institutions, the rule of 50 percent work from home will be applicable. Let us inform you that at this time night curfew is in force in Delhi and during this time those who break the Covid protocol are being strictly punished and fined.

However, during the weekend curfew in the capital of the country, the bus and metro will run at full capacity. During this time people will not be allowed to come out of the house unnecessarily. At the same time, many restrictions will also remain in force. Let us inform you that on Thursday, 15,097 new cases of coronavirus infection were reported in the capital. Whereas Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain has expressed the possibility of 17,000 new cases coming today i.e. on Friday.

Know the guidelines

  • People will not be allowed to leave their homes unnecessarily during the weekend curfew. During this time only people connected with essential services will be allowed to come and go. Whereas in a medical emergency, one can go out with an identity card.
  • If you have a train, bus or flight during the weekend curfew, then you can go to the railway station, bus stand or airport. You just need to have a ticket for this.
  • During this, the officers and employees of the offices attached to the Government of India will be allowed to move on showing the identity card.
  • At the same time, judges and staff of all courts of Delhi, lawyers, legal advisors, who are involved in the hearing of the case, will get exemption with an identity card, service ID card, and permission letter issued by the court.
  • Officers and employees posted in the offices of diplomats around the world present in Delhi will get exemption with identity card.
  • All doctors, nursing staff, and paramedics staff will be allowed to move. At the same time, staff related to medical services, such as diagnostic centers, clinics, pharmacies, pharmaceutical companies, medical oxygen suppliers and people associated with health services will get discounts with ID cards.
  • Media persons will be allowed to move with a valid press ID card.
  • During the weekend curfew in Delhi, pregnant women and patients will be allowed to travel on showing a doctor’s slip.
  • During the weekend curfew, people will be allowed to travel for corona examination or vaccination. Along with this, the students and staff taking the exam will also get an exemption. Not only this, 20 persons will be allowed to move in the marriage ceremony on showing the soft or hard copy of the marriage card.
  • During the weekend curfew, except for the shops selling essential goods, all other shops will remain closed. However, from Monday to Friday, all essential goods shops will open from 10 am to 8 pm along with the rest of the shops.
