New Delhi: There is a flurry of ups and downs in the new cases of Coronavirus in India. Many activities have been resumed in different parts of the country amid the fear of the third wave and the ever-increasing vaccination in India. On the other hand, on Friday, the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (Mohfw) said that 14 thousand 348 new cases have been found in the country in the last 24 hours. At the same time, 805 people died of the corona during this period. However, 13 thousand 198 people won the battle due to infection during this time period and were discharged. The ministry said that there are currently 1 lakh 61 thousand 334 active cases in the country. Of the deaths in the last 24 hours, 708 cases are from Kerala only. In fact, Kerala has shared the figures of the last few days with the Center together.
With this, 3 crores 36 lakh 27 thousand 632 have been discharged. So far 4 lakh 57 thousand 191 people have died. The ministry said that after the new cases were found, an increase of 345 cases was registered in the total active cases. At present, 3 crores 42 lakh 46 thousand 157 cases have been confirmed in the country. On the other hand, if we talk about vaccination, so far 1 billion, 4 crores 82 lakh 66 doses have been given in the country, out of which 74 lakh 33 thousand 392 doses were given on Thursday.
47 new cases of corona virus infection in goa
After 47 new cases of corona virus infection were reported in Goa on Thursday, the total number of infected people increased to 1,78,016. An official of the Health Department gave this information. He said that during the last 24 hours no patient died due to infection in the state and so far 3,363 patients have died due to this deadly virus.
The official said that with the recovery of 64 more patients in Goa, 1,74,216 patients have so far recovered from the infection, while the number of patients under treatment is 437. He said that 14,60,982 samples have been tested so far in Goa.
42 new cases of corona in Delhi, no one died
On Thursday, 42 new cases of coronavirus infection were reported in Delhi and the infection rate was recorded at 0.07 percent. There was no death due to infection in the last 24 hours. This information came out in the data released by the health department of the state government.
So far only four patients have died of Covid in Delhi in October. Last month, five patients died of the pandemic. According to the bulletin, 45 people became infection-free on the last day. So far 14,39,751 cases of infection have been reported in Delhi. Out of these, more than 14.14 lakh patients have been cured. The bulletin said that so far 25,091 patients have died due to the epidemic and currently 345 patients are under treatment.
412 new cases of infection in Odisha, four patients died
After 412 new cases of coronavirus infection were reported in Odisha on Thursday, the total number of infected people increased to 10,40,230. Apart from this, after the death of four more people, the total number of dead has reached 8,322. An official of the Health Department gave this information. The official said that 63 children and adolescents under the age of 18 are included in the 412 new infected. The infection rate is 15.29 percent. A maximum number of 189 new cases were reported in the Khurd district. 46 cases were reported in Cuttack. Two cases of death were reported in Khurd and one each in Kendrapara and Mayurbhanj, the official said. The number of patients under treatment in Odisha is 4,747. After recovering from the infection of 334 people on Wednesday, the number of people who have been cured has gone up to 10,27,108. So far more than 2.17 crore samples have been tested in the state. 70,194 tests were conducted on Wednesday. The infection rate is 4.77 percent. 1,10,71,664 people in the state have taken both doses of the anti-Covid-19 vaccine.
45 new cases of corona virus in puducherry
In the Union Territory of Puducherry, 45 new cases of corona virus were reported in the last 24 hours, taking the total to 1,27,891 cases of infection here. No one died of infection here for the last four days. A senior health department official told me this on Thursday. The official said that these new cases came up during the Covid related test of 3,614 samples. He said that out of 45 new cases, 34 were reported from the Puducherry region, seven from Karaikal, and four from the Mahe region. In a release here, Health Director G Sriramulu was quoted as saying that no case of infection was reported in Yanam in the last 24 hours.
He said that a total of 453 patients are being treated here. Sriramulu said that in the last 24 hours, 35 patients were free from infection and a total of 1,25,581 patients have been cured so far. No one died due to infection for the fourth consecutive day and the death toll remains at 1,857. The Health Department has so far administered a total of 11,21,645 doses of anti-Covid vaccines.
Maharashtra minister Dilip Walse Patil infected with corona virus for the second time
Maharashtra Home Minister Dilip Walse Patil has been found infected with the corona virus for the second time. He has taken both doses of the anti-Covid-19 vaccine. Patil tweeted on Thursday that after showing mild symptoms, he had got a Covid-19 test done. He tweeted, ‘I have been found infected with Corona virus. My condition is stable and following the advice of doctors. I urge all the people who came in contact with me in Nagpur, Amravati and other programs to get tested.
