New Delhi: Xiaomi in India is offering a lot of smartphones under its Redmi brand, but Xiaomi-branded phones are very less. The company has reserved this branding for premium smartphones. In December last year, the company introduced two such premium flagship smartphones in China named Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro. Now the company has announced that Xiaomi 13 Pro will be launched in India on 26 February. At the same time, Xiaomi 13 is also likely to enter the Indian market. Along with this phone, Xiaomi 13 can also be introduced in the Indian market. The launch event will start at 9:30 PM on February 26 and will be live on the company’s official website as well as on all social media platforms and YouTube channels. Xiaomi 13 Pro smartphone has a 6.73-inch 2K OLED display, which comes with a 3200×1440 pixel resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and 1900 nits peak brightness. The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s most powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset paired with Adreno GPU. Xiaomi’s new flagship offers up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. It runs on MIUI 14 based on Android 13. The Xiaomi 13 Pro gets a slightly bigger 4,820mAh battery, which supports 120W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
50MP ultra-wide angle lens and 50MP telephoto lens
Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C. To protect the phone from overheating, the phone gets in-display fingerprint sensor security, high-res audio, X-axis linear motor, and a vapor chamber. For photography, the Xiaomi 13 Pro has a triple camera setup with Leica branding. It houses a 50MP main camera which is the largest one-inch Sony IMX989 sensor among mobile camera sensors. This pair houses a 50MP ultra wide-angle lens and a 50MP telephoto lens. The smartphone has a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calling.
