In the judgment, the court also said that he will have to spend an additional six months in jail for not paying the fine. The case was filed last year on a complaint by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), which had earlier disqualified him from holding public office in the same case.
The decision came a day after the Islamabad High Court (IHC) set aside a sessions court order upholding the maintainability of the Toshakhana case for criminal proceedings against Khan.
