I want to share my happiness with my entire team. Mukta Arts, the stellar cast of ’36 Farmhouse’, our partners ZEE5, ZEE STUDIO and everyone involved. There are 3 reasons behind this celebration, firstly this is my first outing on OTT to make a film and not a web series. Secondly, the subject I have taken was complex, we shot the entire film with the story between two families and a house. Third, every artist, every crew, and every member of Zee5 and Zee Studio has worked hard on this. I want to celebrate this milestone with all of them and for all of them.”

On his consistency of pushing himself, he further added, “Girte hai shah savar hi maidan-e-jung mein, victory comes after defeat.” Many times you go through a stage where people think that Subhash ji is old now, how will he make a film, why will he make a film, and such questions arise but in this film, I am a story writer, I am a story writer. When I attended a musical live show on television, I was thrilled to see all those newcomer kids sing.

“Mausam Bhi Aisa, Har Manzar Bhi Aisa Hai,” from the movie. my pleasure. Subhash Ghai recounts his experience working on OTT for the first time, “I come from a place where we need to show everything larger than life with 6 tracks on a 70mm screen, but OTT that way doesn’t work. You are more accountable to the audience. There is more authenticity on OTT platforms, people are used to here from a ‘real’ perspective. It was definitely a new experience for me. I am absolutely thrilled about it and I am glad that the audience has openly accepted it.

The film continues to garner rave reviews due to its acclaimed star cast starring Sanjay Mishra, Vijay Raaz, Ashwini Kalsekar, and Amol Parashar as well as social media influencer Barkha Singh.
