Ujjain: In the world-famous Shri Mahakaleshwar temple, devotees will be able to read stories related to Shiva on mobile. The story related to the statue will come on the mobile of devotees as soon as they scan the QR code on the idols in the statement in the new work door of the temple. These idols are being made from red stone and such material which will not deteriorate for 100 years. The work of expansion of Mahakaleshwar temple is going on with an amount of Rs 703 crore. 85 percent of the work of the first phase has been completed. The Mahakal post is also ready.
92 statues have been installed from the main gate to the public plaza and gate number 13 of the Mahakal temple. Many statues are being finalized. These include statues ranging from 9 feet to 25 feet high. These idols will also be protected from the effects of sunlight and cold. Their paint coating will also be durable for a long time. The idols are being manufactured by artisans from Gujarat and Rajasthan.
