Bhopal: Where on one hand there was a sensation due to a fierce fire in Satpura Bhawan Fire News, the head office of the Madhya Pradesh Government. At the same time, till 7 am today, the army team and the fire department are trying to douse the fire in Satpura Bhawan of Bhopal.
On the other hand, Bhopal District Collector Ashish Singh told that the fire has now been brought under control, but there are no flames anywhere. All agencies including CISF, Army came together to douse the fire and the fire has been brought under control. However, at 7 am, flames were still rising intermittently from the rear tower of Satpura Bhawan’s western block. Even after pouring water continuously to douse the fire on the fourth, fifth, and sixth floors of Satpura Bhawan, a plume of smoke could be seen rising.

However, this is not the first time that the Directorate has caught fire. Even before this, these states and important places have been on fire. Due to this many important or rather very important files have been burnt to ashes.
The fierce fire broke out even 11 years ago
If seen, this is not the first time that the Satpura building has caught fire. In fact, on June 25, 2012, there was a fire on the fourth floor of the Satpura building. Then the office of the Technical Education Department used to operate on this floor. The fire that broke out here in June 2012 was actually caused by a short circuit.
Even after the election results in 2018, when there was a fire
Similarly, on December 14, 2018, a fire broke out in the same office of the Directorate of Health located on the fourth floor of Satpura Bhawan. Even then the reason for the fire here was said to be a short circuit. Then elections were held in the state and the Congress came out victorious. Kamal Nath was to take oath as the Chief Minister on December 17, three days before that many documents were destroyed due to the fire on December 14.
However, the special thing was that this fire broke out in the Satpura building when the new government was being formed after the results of the MP assembly elections. For this reason, after the incident of this fire, the discussion of burning all the important files of the health department in the administrative corridors also heated up the market.
When there was a fire in Vindhyachal Bhavan
Just like the Satpura Bhawan, a massive fire broke out in the Panchayat and Rural Development Department (Development Commissioner’s Office) located on the second floor late at night on November 28, 2013, in the adjoining Vindhyachal Bhawan. Then this fire broke out in the establishment branch and the fire spread to 40 rooms of the office. Out of which two dozen rooms were completely engulfed in fire. Among them, the budget branch, establishment branch, and development branch were completely burnt to ashes.
On the other hand, on October 5, 2015, the second incident of fire on the fifth floor of Vindhyachal took place in the Directorate of Agriculture. In the arson, the files related to the questions and answers of the Vidhansabha kept in the Seed Branch of the Directorate of Agriculture, were burnt to ashes. The police then attributed the fire to a short circuit. This was the second incident of arson in Vindhyachal Bhavan in two years. Even the documents related to the investigation against former Agriculture Director Dr. DN Sharma were reduced to ashes in this fire.
Significantly, after a few months from now, re-elections are to be held in Madhya Pradesh. In such a situation, the occurrence of such a fierce fire is giving rise to many questions. The fire seems to be under control for the time being. But the cause of the fire has not been revealed yet. Police are currently investigating the matter.
