1) Maruti Suzuki Swift – 97,312 Units
Maruti Suzuki recently gave the Swift a slight makeover with an efficient dual-jet K12 engine. Swift H1 climbed to the number one position in sales and this figure stands at 97,312 units. The engine of Maruti Suzuki Swift produces 90PS and 113 Nm of torque. The range of Swift starts from Rs 5.73 Lakh and goes up to Rs 8.40 Lakh ex-showroom.
2) Maruti Suzuki Wagon R – 94, 839 units
The second car on the list is Wagon-R and continues to be on sale. Maruti Suzuki sold 94,839 units of Wagon R in the first half of 2021. Maruti Suzuki Wagon R comes with 1.0-litre and 1.2-liter petrol engines. Wagon R price starts from Rs 4.80 Lakh and goes up to Rs 6.33 Lakh ex-showroom.

3) Maruti Suzuki Baleno – 93,823 Units
Maruti Suzuki Baleno is the best-selling premium hatchback in India and H1 occupies the third position in sales. Maruti Suzuki sold more than 93,823 units of Baleno. The Baleno is powered by the same engine that we get with the Swift, but it also offers the option of a CVT automatic. Baleno’s price starts at Rs 5.98 Lakh and goes up to Rs 9.30 Lakh ex-showroom.
4) Maruti Suzuki Alto – 85,616 Units
Maruti Suzuki Alto has been the best-selling car in the Indian market since its inception. Despite not getting any major updates, Maruti Suzuki has managed to sell 85,616 units of the Alto 800 in the 2021 H1. Alto 800 price starts from Rs 2.99 Lakh and goes up to Rs 4.60 Lakh ex-showroom.
5) Hyundai Creta – 67,283 Units
The fifth car on the list is the Hyundai Creta. Hyundai sold 67,283 units of the Creta in the H1 of 2021. The Hyundai Creta is offered with 1.5-liter petrol, 1.5-liter diesel, and 1.4-liter T-GDI engine options. Its price starts from Rs 9.99 lakhs and goes up to Rs 17.70 lakhs ex-showroom.
6) Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza – 65,077 Units
The sixth car on the list is the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza. Maruti sold 65,077 units of the Vitara Brezza and like every Maruti, it does not offer a diesel engine. Vitara Brezza’s price starts at Rs 7.51 Lakh and goes up to Rs 11.41 Lakh ex-showroom.
7) Maruti Suzuki Dzire – 61,583 Units
Maruti Suzuki DZire is the only sedan in the top 10 list with 61,583 units sold. DZire price starts from Rs 5.98 Lakh and goes up to Rs 9.02 Lakh ex-showroom.
8) Maruti Suzuki Eeco – 56,901 Units
The eighth car on the list is the Maruti Suzuki Eeco. Eeco is the best-selling MPV in India. It comes mated to a 1.3-liter petrol engine mated to a sole 5-speed manual gearbox. Eeco’s price starts at Rs 4.08 Lakh and goes up to Rs 5.29 Lakh ex-showroom.
9) Hyundai Grand i10 Nios – 56,286 Units
The ninth best-selling car is the Grand-i10 Nios with 56,286 units sold. The price of Grand-i10 Nios starts from Rs 5.23 lakh and goes up to Rs 8.45 lakh.
10) Hyundai Venue – 54,675 Units
Hyundai Venue has seen a slight drop in sales as compared to Vitara Brezza. Hyundai sold 54,675 units of the Venue and secured the tenth position on the list. The Hyundai Venue range starts from Rs. 6.92 lakhs and goes up to Rs. 11.78 lakhs ex-showroom.
