After a while, the pilot of the American warship established contact and warned and asked to leave the area. China claims sovereignty over almost the entire South China Sea. According to the report, the Southern Theater Command of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) of China said that the American warship entered the Paracel Islands on Thursday. Vietnam also claims this area as its own. Apart from China, the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Brunei also claim the South China Sea. This is a disputed waterway. While the United States continues to send naval ships through it for navigation in international waters and claims that this area is independent.

PLA spokesman Tian Junli said, “Sea and air forces were deployed to track and monitor the US ship.” From the Chinese side, we warned them to leave the area. He said, ‘The vessel made an illegal intrusion into Chinese territorial waters. The US, without permission from the Chinese government, harmed peace and stability in the region. There was no immediate response from the United States in this matter.
