Tokyo: India’s Kamalpreet Kaur made it to the final of the women’s discus throw event at the Tokyo Olympics by finishing second in the qualification round with a throw of 64m while veteran Seema Punia missed out.
Kamalpreet threw a throw of 64 meters in her third attempt, which was also the qualification mark. She was the only player other than Valari Allman of America, who topped the qualification, to throw 64 meters or more.
