In this sense, this decision of the Navy is historical.

According to a Hindustan Times news, a Navy official told that if women in the Navy fulfill all the necessary criteria for this, they can now become Marine Commandos (Marcos). It is indeed a historic moment in the military history of India. No one is sent directly to the Special Forces unit. People have to send their own names for this. These commandos can fight against enemy warships, in all kinds of conditions in the coastal areas of the ocean. They can also fight terrorists in the sea.
