Vivo has officially launched the X Fold Plus, the successor of its first foldable phone. Compared to its older model, the X Fold Plus has a bigger battery and an updated processor. The phone also has an 8.03-inch inner and 6.53-inch AMOLED cover display. The company has introduced the phone in two variants.

Vivo X Fold Plus supports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. Both the internal and external displays of the phone come with an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The company has introduced the phone in three colors. The phone is currently available for pre-order in China.

Specifications of Vivo X Fold Plus
Vivo X Fold Plus runs on Origin OS Ocean based on Android 12 out of the box. The rear of the phone houses a quad camera setup, consisting of a 50MP primary sensor, a 48MP ultrawide camera, a 12MP telephoto lens for portraits, and an 8MP periscope lens with 5x optical zoom. Apart from this, there is a 16MP selfie camera on the front of the phone. Since it is a foldable device, the rear camera can also be used as a selfie camera.

4,730mAh battery
Vivo X Fold Plus comes with 12GB+256GB and up to 12GB+512GB internal storage. The device packs a 4,730mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. The phone is available in Clear Mountain Blue, Sycamore Ash, and Huaxia Red color options.

Phone price
The phone is currently available for pre-order in China and is expected to go on sale from September 29. Currently, the 12GB/256GB base variant of the phone is priced at 9,999 Yuan (approximately Rs 1,13,549), while the 12GB/512GB variant can be purchased for 10,999 (approximately Rs 1,24,905). However, it is not clear whether Vivo has plans to launch the X Fold Plus in India.
