New Delhi: Twitter, the social media platform used by crores of people around the world, remained down on Wednesday. Because of this, thousands of users of the microblogging site Twitter are unable to access their accounts or post tweets.
During this time, many users have visited websites like Down Detector and complained that they are not able to access the platform. According to Down Detector, the problem started at 3.47 pm IST and is affecting users across the globe.
Reports of the outage started surfacing with users from various countries including the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, and India. This affected both the desktop and mobile versions of the platform. Users are reacting fiercely on social media when the platform is down.
Twitter was down in February as well
Please tell me that this is not the first incident of Twitter being down. Earlier in February, Twitter’s service was down for hours, in which users were neither able to read direct messages nor update posts.
Trouble came on October 16 last year as well
Last year on October 16, a similar problem had come. According to Indian time, the social site Twitter came to a standstill at around 7 pm. Twitter users were having trouble logging in to the site. Couldn’t get any tweets. Some users were able to log in to their accounts.
